Description Grey Pointing Mortar is a high performance cement-based mortar which provides a clean, professional joint finish for brick slip installations. It delivers high bond strength, reduced shrinkage, and long-term durability in all conditions. Product Details Pack size: 25kg dry mix Colour: Grey Coverage: approx. 3 m2 per 25kg bag (depending on joint/tile size/thickness) Set time: 2.5 hours but will take upto 48 hours to fully dry out. The mortar will lighten as it dries. Application: Suitable for internal and external walls and around log burners. Use with: All clay and concrete brick slip systems Technical Specification Cement based, pre-blended dry mortar – requires only clean water Frost-resistant, water-repellent and vapour-permeable High bond strength and low shrinkage Installation Mix the full bag with approximately 3.5 – 4.5 litres of clean water until smooth and workable. Apply using a mortar gun, grout bag, or traditional pointing tools. Compact joints fully and finish flush or slightly recessed as required. The mortar has an unmixed workability time of around 45 minutes. Continue to mix as you go to extend this. For best results, blend bags from multiple batches before use to achieve uniform colour. Always follow substrate manufacturer guidance for adhesion and curing times.
