Description The TWPro Register Plate 900×495, no access hole – 125 and 150mm serves as an effective seal for your chimney’s base. Measuring 900mm x 495mm , this plate features NO access holes and is designed for compatibility with 125mm and 150mm (5 and 6-inch) Black Stove Pipes. Application: Ideal for sealing off the chimney base, this versatile Register Plate can be easily cut on-site to match your chimney stack’s base size. It provides sturdy support for vermiculite and prevents any debris from within the chimney stack from reaching your stove. Construction: Constructed from durable 1.5mm thick galvanized steel, both the Register Plate and its Supporting Brackets ensure reliability and strength. You can customize the plate by painting it to match the colour of your stove pipe. Additionally, this Register Plate includes a specialized adaptor suitable for installations using either 125mm or 150mm diameter flue pipes. Installation: Cut the four supporting brackets to match the length and width of your chimney stack’s base. Drill holes in the brackets and firmly secure them into the brickwork. Cut the Register Plate to the precise size, ensuring the pipe hole aligns vertically above the Stove Pipe. Lower the plate onto the supporting brackets and seal any gaps between the brickwork, brackets, or plate using Fire Cement or High-Temperature Sealant. For 150mm diameter installations, simply remove the center cover ring by unscrewing the two retaining screws. Maintenance: Routine maintenance is crucial. Sweep and maintain chimneys serving solid fuel appliances as needed, at least once a year. During maintenance, remove the Register Plate’s inspection hole cover plate(s) to clear any fallen debris. However, refrain from removing cover plates if vermiculite insulation has been installed.
