Description 200 Internal Clay Pot Adaptor – 125mm Application: The Internal Fit Clay Adaptor is designed to connect to the bottom of a chimney stack with a clay liner installed, where a chimney flue liner is not being used. Use the internal fit only when the clay liner does not protrude by at least 50mm from the stack. Construction: Made from 1mm thick stainless-steel grade 316. Installation: The clay end of the adaptor is tapered to allow the adaptor to be pushed (knocked) up the inside of the clay liner. Clay liners are never perfectly symmetrical, so this allows the adaptor to mould itself inside the liner. Now use Fire Cement and Fire Rope to make a good seal around the clay liner. Use the securing bands to screw the adaptor into the chamber. Use stainless screws for this to stop corrosion. The single wall pipe can then be placed over the spigot of the adaptor. Finish off with Fire Cement and/or Fire Rope to ensure a good seal.
