Setcrete Deep Base Floor Levelling Compound – 20kg

Setcrete™ Deep Base is a base compound designed for use where floor levels need to be raised quickly and economically in light to heavy-duty applications onto sound absorbent and non-absorbent subfloors. It is ideal in areas such as conservatories or where two adjacent rooms need to be brought up to the same level, such as in extensions or where an internal wall has been removed. Suitable Substrate Setcrete™ Deep Base is suitable for use over a wide range of absorbent subfloor types including sand/cement screed and concrete. It is also suitable for use over non-absorbent subfloors such as ceramics, granolithic, terrazzo, epoxy and polyurethane resins, ceramic and quarry tiles, providing they are sound , well adhered and suitably prepared. Absorbent surfaces – Prime with SETCRETE™ ACRYLIC PRIMER, diluted with 4 part water to prevent rapid drying of the levelling compound. Non-absorbent surfaces  – Prime with undiluted SETCRETE™ ACRYLIC PRIMER to promote adhesion Coverage Approximate coverage rates for a 20kg unit as follows: Thickness: 5mm  – Water Mix: 3.4 litres – Coverage: 2.15m2 Thickness: 10mm – Water Mix: 3.4 litres – Coverage: 1.05m2 Thickness: 15mm – Water Mix: 3.4 litres – Coverage: 0.70m2 Thickness: 20mm – Water Mix: 3.2 litres – Coverage: 0.50m2 Thickness: 50mm – Water Mix: 3.2 litres – Coverage: 0.20m2 Note: Coverage rates for 5–15mm are based on 3.4 litre water addition and for 16–50mm are based on 3.2 litre water addition. These figures will vary according to the condition of the subfloor Properties Fast Drying, Excellent Self-Levelling Properties Application thickness: 5–50 mm Working Time @ 20°C:  20–30 minutes Walk on hard time @ 20°C:  from 90 minutes Ready for ceramic and textile floorcoverings: from 6 hours Application Temperature: The temperature of the floor must be maintained above 5°C throughout the application and drying of the levelling compound Packaging Setcrete™ Deep Base is supplied in 20kg bags.
